A great day we had. My first ever camp fire made by my very own hands. Whoooohooooo. I did the happy dance, however I think I needed to go the other way because it became the dance of rain.
Can't wait for further adventures.

Please stop it, you two smilesmile ... here I am trying to suppress my enthusiasm about joining the playground so that the big day doesn't take forever to arrive, and you're continually whetting my appetite! Glad to see Fran has now slowed down a little from what seemed like a frantic start to nomad life. Continue having fun both of you, and I hope our paths cross out there, somewhere, in the not too distant future.

Cheers Joe

Sorry Joe50, that is just the way we roll. We are such quiet, shy, retiring types that we do not understand the compact we have on people. As long as it is positive we are happy. Seriously though, it is the best life out here on the road. Keep marking off the sleeps until it is your time.
We discovered the other day that we have a fan base of 2. A couple called into Pildappa to meet us as they had heard us on the radio. Don't know what they heard as we usually have a conversation like this....

MD- Look at those mountains, WOW.

Athena- I know its amazing,oooooo,,,WOW<WOW.

That is about it other than a radio check in the morning when it is...

Athena - MD do you have your ears on?

MD - Ears on Athena

Athena - Wagons Gooooooooo

NB: MD = Miss Daisy, my rig

       Athena = Fran's rig.

Did you see the sea lion colony too? They are very interesting to watch.

And the whistling rocks and blowholes.

We saw Murphy's Haystacks. And the sea lion colony and whistling rocks while staying at Streaky Bay. Eyre peninsula SA. The tourist info book shows the drive to take in the sites. About 130 k round trip.
