I brought two sets of go jacts on the weekend 50% off at Repco =$400.00. For the purpose of moving the boat side ways in the shed to accomadate the new vans arrival in Dec.
Got me thinking today, maybe I could bring the new van in forwards (Long Driveway). Unhitch the van and put the van on the jacks and rotate the van on its axis and then push back into the shed.
The reason been I have 2900mm clearance up the driveway, the van with awning 2470mm =215mm either side. I have no problem with that. as I back trailers all the time.
Question! can I turn the van on my own (Jayco Journey Outback 17.55 independent tandum wheels @ 1940kg empty) on flat concrete surface with a rough texture using the jacks. Anyone used them before. They still in their boxes till needed.
I use them but only to push my Tvan sideways , it would be easy enough to do a complete 360 , but my Tvan is a max of 1250kg
I guess you would just have to give it a try .
