Karajini National Park

Hi my name is Vaughan. I am new to the site and hope I am doing this right!!!!

We are travelling from Newman to Port Hedland via Karajini in June. We are staying at the Eco tent site for the first night and are then looking for suggestions to stay a couple more nights in the park either free camping or paid, any suggestions?  Also here where about do enter the park to view all the sites?

look forward to some help, Cheers Vaughan

Welcome to the gang Vaughan, enjoy here and out in the playground.

You are doing it right as you have made your first post. May I suggest from here you check out all the different sections of the forum especially "Recommendations" as that will have heaps of different locations, CVP's as well as Free Camps etc.

If you have no luck there just pop your question into the appriate section of this great forum.

Keep Safe.

Welcome to our playground Vaughan.  The best place to camp is in the national park - Dales Gorge - at Karajini.  There camping grounds there are safe, and within walking distance to a couple of the features.  You can drive from there to the other gorges, leaving the van in a safe spot. We paid $13.20 per night to camp there, but we already had our WA Parks Access.

Another interesting spot on the way to Port Hedland was Indee Station ($20.00 powered site per night), on the Great Northern Highway (CAW 7 WA 468)
