The Mary River Valley region will be awesome for the few weeks or so. After all the recent rain the Mary River and creeks will be nice and the hills will be nice and green. There are some great camp sites just south of Kenilworth, Charlie Morland's a cracker smile

Inland of New England at the moment is beautiful.  We have had a couple of cooler days, but nothing like we did over Easter at Walcha.

Try Cranky Rock near Warialda, Coolatai (Vintage Tractor Pull weekend 16&17 May.  Been told Macintyre Falls pretty special at the moment - in the area.  Bingara, Tingha, Bundarra, all interesting.  Agree with Ondabeach, Mary River Valley IS awesome, but with recent rain, some roads may well be cut - again.  We were through there end February.  Story coming up in Caravan and Motorhome on Tour, ED 218

Have to say, I loved Bingara. Was there for Easter. Could have stayed a month but a 7 day limit.

Bingara is a great little town with beautiful camping spots along the Gwydir River. High up on my list of favourite places.

Yep top spot. You can camp right by the river and walk into town easily.
