Buying rjgs from interstate


Warning if you intend to buy motothomes,coasters,etc,interstate check your home state regulations,as we have just purchased a. Long wheel base coaster regestered for 4 down we would have to change all the seat and loose storage, decided agaist, also they dont have have safety cit,only last year roadworthy.brakes were shot, now we have down grade I am not sure what this means hope to get it back tomorrow.also gas conections had to be changed we bought inN,S.W. hope it works out. Husband. And I hope to get away end of May sold other Timeless

Its not that the states have different regulations, it is just some states allow manufacturers to get away with shoddy work. I purchased a Jayco from SA and had to get the chains cut off and replaced as they were not Australian Standard chains.

Check out some vans - they only have amber lights down the side, yet they are supposed to be amber facing forward and red facing backward.

Trust it all gets sorted out for you soon - and doesn't cost too much.
