RIP Gary, although we never met and I only had the chance to read your words of wisdom for a much shorter time than many others, I enjoyed every post. Sadly missed by all grey nomads.

We are all saddened by Gary's passing. He didn't manage to fulfil his dream. All those out in the playground take his dream with you and toast him at your next campfire. Live his dream for him. R.I.P Gary
I don't know the man but from all I've read about him on this Forum, he was obviously highly regarded and well liked by some of the Forum's Old Timers who knew him...RIP..

Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Gary,s passing brings to mind the old adage of get on the road while you can. Gary had a rig very similar to mine and didn,t get to use it as infirmity stopped him.The moral is GO NOW , DON,T WAIT! Again RIP, brother. Bill
we will certainly miss you Gary I for one enjoyed reading your posts and your sense of humour its a shame that we never got to meet up personally You will be missed by many Gary RIP

Some words from Gary's blog that seem appropriate at this time -
"Now that I have my house on wheels I'll hither and thither as the impulse feels Free of the shackles of one who kneels To heed the freedom bell that peals."
