Ensuite hatch seals

i have two hatches in my ensuite with fans fitted

They are 300 x 300 mm approx

the seals are damaged on both

do these hatches normally have seals or is this something the previous owner has put in?

i have not been able to find replacements on Caravan plus website

Clark Rubber have a big selection of rubber suitable for sealing. Maybe take one of your old seals and try and match it.

As per Jenny and Barry your best bet would be clark rubber and yes I would say the previous owner has put it in I have never seen that before

I am not sure if these hatches normally come with a seal hence my posting
I suspect they may not allowing for ventilation in these areas

Those hatches are born with the rubber seal.

We have similar seals in the bathroom & laundry/toilet and both wind up panels have seals fitted. No brand name unfortunately so I can't help you further.

Ours has a rubber seal - in fact it is getting a little sticky and makes opening up a bit hard. Maybe time to replace the rubber.

Ours came with a rubber seal.

Recently the hatch leaked in heavy rain so I took the seal out (easy job) and took it to Clark Rubber. The salesman looked at it and said

"that is out of a mobile home isn't it? You will need to get a new one from a caravan repair place."

I haven't done that yet because I am trying to think of another way of sealing it with something readily available (and cheap).
