Amazing photos Hylda and Jon especially the one of the soldier carrying his mate.
Albany just had a service this morning (Friday) for the school children in our region very respectable I must say ,with 34 out of 37 schools taking part .
Also gearing up for the big day tomorrow . Hopefully the weather will stay fine the place is buzzing with tourists at the moment .
Its great that as a nation we can reflect and remember the fallen soldiers who gave so much for freedom .
LEST WE FORGET

For those of us lucky enough by age not to have to go through this horror - we can only imagine what it may have been like - a living hell !!
We are celebrating WWI vets particularly this year, but it always bothers me that those who suffered just as badly in Korea and Vietnam and just about forgotten (particularly the Korean war where our men suffered snow, lack of food, poor senior planning and capture and torture by the North Koreans and Chinese) - lets not forget these equally brave men
