How meeting people can change the value of being a Grey Nomad

Hi everyone,

I have been a member for a few years but rarely make comments on the forum. That was before I came to Blazeaid at Monto, up until I came here I had not met one Grey Nomad. Since being here I can now put faces to ame25, sarg, chrisnchris, billeeeeee & jules. I am now looking more closely at who is logged on to see the comments made and perhaps reply with more confidence (thanks billeeeeee)

Today sarg had a visit from billeeeee and jules a I was lucky enough to drop by at the right time to meet them. I can tell you it was my absolute pleasure to put faces to names I have been reading comments from for a long time.

billeeeee told me he deleted himself but I for one would love to see him come back as his comments often made me laugh.

Anyway the forum has just become all the better for me.

crackles (Craig)

Yeah - the greater majority of members online are a great mob ... and they become better for the meeting of them.

The forum is what ya make of it ... thankfully 99% make my regular visits are definitely worthwhile.

Cheers - and keep posting - John

Thank you for that Craig - Billeeeeeee and I were very pleased to meet you as well - it was what the whole grey nomads thing is about, I think, meeting new people and seeing new things. Why don't you bring your wife out here for a visit - it's a great spot.cawnpore5.jpg Lillyvale Hills - Winton to Boulia  - spectacular drive!

Make sure you say hello to the Publican at Middleton Jules. He is a treasure and I bet he is wearing the same cloths standing in the same spot

YEP....I agree, crackles (Craig) It is great to put a face to names on this great site.
I have met quite a number of GN's especially at Greens and I feel privileged to have done so, and it is so nice to meet up with them again at different places and catch up.
Billeeeeeee and Jules it was good to catch up and I will see ya before moving on.

Sooooo Billeeeeeee hurry up and get back on the forum........most of us miss ya. (The ones that don't, ....Don't matter)...Sarg.
