Has the  free Australian attractions  guide   "Australia Free "  been published yet? Someone said it was due to be published sometime back.  Has anyone seen it or know the name of the author or anything about it.  Sounds like a great guide.

hi KB, 

I think the publication that you are talking about has been published.....For last Christmas, our kids gave us a large spiral bound book called "Australia Free" , "free things to see, free things to do and free places to stay" by Mike Koch. 

It comes with a letter explaining that it is his first book of this kind, having taken two years to compile.  the letter goes on to discuss " NO Camping" signs at some over night stops.  We haven't had a chance to use it yet (waiting for new tug to turn up) but we are very impressed with the look of it and information in it.

We met the author at Greens Lake earlier in the year. He was on his way to a the Caravan and Camping show in Geelong to promote and sell his book. He was a lovely guy and we talked for quite a while about the 2 years he has spent travelling to get the information for his book.
