There are so many brands and types on the market today (allegedly each for a specific use which is why you need to pay for so many different ones).
How many uses do you get out of the tube, bottle or syringe before the nozzle is blocked and you end up with your fingers stuck together, your clothes and bench top with glue on them and still no free running glue to use to adhere the things you wanted to.
We must turf out so much glue.............

If you clean up tip after done then put in freezer it will be ready for next time. The lid won't stick to container. Have bought so many when next time to use can't get lid off . One of the Girls told me that trick in Bunnings, nice Girl.
Glue!!!!! don't talk about it - had to use extreme force to get someone's fingers apart, scrape it off the sink, and then pick it off his toes the next day!!!! A small job with super glue turned into a major operation!!!!!
We use Liquid Nails for most jobs - seems to work on just about anything - put a nail in the nozzle of the tube, seems to help keep it 'liquid".

Hmmmmmm Joe, directions, are they the iddi-biddi writing on the tube/bottle that you need a magnifying glass to read? Yep Glenelg, was told that myself and it seems to work.

No, I'm not busy, I did it right the first time.

Ah ya gotta love glue or glues. I still love the old araldite stick anything to anything else. There is a new one that takes 24 hours to set and really does stick like the proverbial to a blanket.
