Looks like I will be able to get there Have almost managed to juggle my shifts around to be able to spend a bit longer this time. Thank you both for putting this on again Look forward to catching up with everyone.
We look like being there if nothing crops up, just broke a damn tooth filling but not in pain so will have to cope with it, no time to visit dentist etc beforehand. Off to JRH's funeral tomorrow at Rockingham.
Judging by the flies around today we will need our fly nets up there? Taking them just in case.
Hi Sue, I know my answer will be here somewhere but....is there water available onsite? Should we make sure we have enough onboard for the duration?
We will be there mid next week. Looking forward to meeting you & catching up with others.
Neil, message from Sue regards water;
"There is plenty of potable bore water It is pulled up thru the coastal limestone so to us it has a taste. We use it for everything but drinking, we just prefer rainwater to drink. We have a couple of tanks of rainwater but it is only for drinking not filling van tanks"
We arrived yesterday, still plenty of room, what an amazing setting that the hosts provide, a camper could ask for nothing more. Thanks Sue & Phil for extending your generosity to all.

Another one arrived this arvo and the possibility that there may be another 10 yet to arrive tomorrow. some will be day visitors and others staying a day or two or three. Lots of eating, drinking coffee, and laughter. Campfire each night, more laughter and chatting. It is great to see such a diverse group of people having a good time ( and no egos to be seen!!). Got a problem and there are several people ready to give you a hand to sort it out. Fish and chip night to night...spending some of the grey nomad dollars locally.
Having a great time - meeting old friends, and new!!! Tonight we had 24 people, plus Sue, Phil and daughter Tracey, and of those 12 were from the Eastern States!!!
A great spot to relax, make yourself at home, talk, laugh, and generally enjoy yourself. Looking forward to the new influx tomorrow.
Thanks Sue, Phil and Tracey for opening your home to all us travellers!!!

We arrived Thursday, and stayed Thursday night and Friday night (fantastic Fish and Chips around the campfire and thank to the organisers of that and the pick up from Seabird.....Snapper, my favourite fish!) We left today (Saturday) but know the crowd at Sufil's will be glued to the TV watching the big game at midday in the camp kitchen.
Thank you Phil and Sue for your hospitality and generosity, and sorry for those we missed saying goodbye to this morning, all those in bed still when we left. A few shots from the event;
Pic 1, Len, Carol, Sue, Phil & Ron,
Pic 2, Sharon, Miss Daisy & Seedling (Rod's caravan behind).

Thanks Vic, my eyes still 'bleed' a little every time I see a pic of him.
I had forgotten the "A-Van Wave" too, could have done it again with Wombat.

Sorry we missed you guys when you were leaving! But some of us Easterners like to sleep! Great to see you and Carol again.
Thanks Jules, same here, many were still having a sleep in after our fish n chips night, that was great, thanks to all involved in organising it and delivery etc. We didn't make up our mind until next morning early, so decided to get home before the, dare I say it.....slaughter on TV......
We found some more little critters on us when we got home, even after a shower and a new set of clothes etc, must have been latched on. Billeeeeees experience had me getting my nether bits checked well. Carol got a big one off my back but left part of the body in so will have to keep an eye on that.
Also found on some gear we unpacked from Carol's van today, musta bin lookin for a new home......(now gone to God)..

Our heartfelt thanks to Sue and Phil for a wonderful weekend setting and all the help from Kev in getting set up and to all of the GN's for making us so welcome. Marion and I now have much more confidence in our 'van (and abilities). Great to put name and faces together and hoping to meet you on our travels once we get started.
Thanks to Sue & Phil for a great weekend. We really enjoyed meeting everyone, but time just goes too quickly so we never really 'got to do the rounds' with everyone.
Enjoyed listening to everyone's stories around the campfires Friday & Sat nights & we learnt so much info for when we can finally pull the pin on work & hit the road.
Chook n Phil

Remember, the greatest gift is not found in a store or under a tree, but in the hearts of true friends.
This morning we all had morning tea, then waved Sue and Phil (sufil) off on their trip to Victoria. Only about seven of us left here now, apart from Tracey , Sue and Phil's daughter, and we will all be leaving in a staggered fashion over the next few days.
Had a fantastic time, Sue and Phil are hosts who make their guests right at home, Sue is a terrific cook, always coming up with cakes, slices etc., others made or bought things to contribute to the morning tea or afternoon tea table (which usually turned into happy hour). Was great to meet new friends, as well as catch up with old friends.
If you are going to be in the west next year around this time, check this section of the forum for details of get togethers, we believe this one will be happening again!
Thanks Sue, Phil and Tracey - see you soon. Jules & Billeeeeeeee
