The weekend before the GT is our local fireworks night. The local community do a great job in putting this on each year. BYO tea or buy it there, raffles,Guy Fawkes bonfire. Build and bring a Guy for the fire. BYO chair or blanket to sit on. It isn't a late night for those who want to go back to Perth afterwards.. over by 8.30pm. No camping on site but you can always camp here for those that want to stay over. We are about 10 kms away. Hope some can make it.. Yes it IS on a SUNDAY night and it is a long weekend (Queens Birthday Weekend).
Sounds wonderful. By that time I should have my caravan to the point where it can travel. A run up the coast would be a perfect opportunity to see how it tows. Will keep you guys posted

Hi Sue, we are currently in Jurien Bay for the night, heading south tomorrow. Do you still welcome visitors? We are in 2 vans looking for an overnight stay tomorrow night. Can you help?
Thanks Neil.

And for those who follow AFL footy we have a TV installed in the undercover area so you can sit and cheer for the EAGLES to beat THE DOCKERS at the Grand Final!!

Surely you can't be right when you say the Eagles will beat the Dockers surfil, ?????
I'm just wondering if you have any room left at your G.T.G for another van, I have almost completed all the repairs on our latest van so,
with a bit of luck, we may be able to make it up your way in time to toast the DOCKERS LOL

Yes plenty of room so please come on up. As for the Dockers beating the Eagles...WONT HAPPEN!! knowing my luck it will probably be 2 Vic teams playing!!
We promise to be home this Neil!! See you soon.
Are you going to the Off Road as contestant/pit crew, Official or just Spectator? I was a Senior official for road racing for way way too many years to count. finally fully retired this year after doing several years with Historical Racing when I first retired and got bored.( Just had a quick look at sup regs, I Worked with Dieter (the Ass COC) and Rod (steward) for many years.)
Primarily we are spectating now. Previously a couple of our group were Pit Crewing and one still does specialist work required without being on full time.
I personally don't know any of the organisers, I just go to watch and enjoy the camaraderie and loooong happy hours.

Any travellers who are coming to the get together please feel free to have you mail redirected to here if you wish. We get a mail delivery every day and there is also PO agency in both Seabird and Guilderton.
Are we ready? Hell no but who cares, the main stuff is done and the rest we will get done at some point over the next couple of days .Nothing important just the final tidy up and mowing those bloody dandelions again!!
Some GNs are arriving!! We had one pass thru on Monday for the night and she intends to be back for the GT. Another arrived yesterday while we were out. He was almost set up for the next couple of weeks when we came home and interrupted him by putting the kettle on which then became tea so it was dark by the time he got back to his camper. He can finish his set up today or tomorrow. There is no rush!! Another is due today or tomorrow. So it wont be long and we will have a little village here as people start to wander in off the road. Looking forward to meeting new people and re acquainting with others.
Due to some bad organising Marion (SWMBO) will not be coming up on the Friday, as originally planned by us, as she has a quiz night all ready organized, and on the Monday we have to take our daughter to the surgeon early to check out her progress from the gall bladder removal she had some weeks ago as she is still getting pain almost every morning. So what was originally going to be 3 nights may just turn into a single night.
The good news is that the suspension on the van was completed yesterday so the van is ready
