YES IT IS ON AGAIN!! 2/3/4 October will be the main dates but it will start a week before and go for a week after for those that want to just chill out and have a break. ( it is the middle weekend of the school holidays so it is a chance to get off the road) We are 12 kms from both Guilderton and Seabird. Seabird Tavern has reopened. General store and bottle shop in both towns. We have plenty of room for vans, tents or whatever you want to camp in. We are pet friendly . As long as your dogs are sociable, they can be let off their leads and chase roos and rabbits or just dig holes and sleep.
As per last year.. you will need to be self contained, we have water but no power or loos. There is a dump point at Moore River Bridge about 10 kms away. We have a communal camp fire area and lots of wood . Hopefully the weather will be kinder this year and will be dry!! So start making your offerings to the weather gods now!! We have a bbq and a pizza oven if any one wishes to use them. A communal tea on Saturday night followed by a leftovers lunch on Sunday. Last year we had a fish and chip night as well (doubled our local chip shops weeks taking in one order!!)
You can just chill out, do the tourist thing, go fishing at either beach or river.
We will probably be coming down the West coast around that time, is your block suitable for bigger rigs, with no 4wd ? It would be good to catch up and put faces to names, we missed out going to Greens two years ago when over East.
Sounds good then! Provisionally put us in for this as we are still workers and Marion works on Sundays. We can work out exact dates nearer the time. Looking forward to finally meeting some of you.
Hi Sue and everyone, and I'd love to come along to Seabird in October, the weather should be super so I am really looking forward to it. I hope the turnout is good as theres so many Nomads that I've come to know from their Posts, so to place the face with the name would be really nice. Thanks for the response on the other post Jules, but I couldn't answer you there as its been closed. So here's Cheers! and looking forward to meeting all that can make it there........Kisha.
A good time will be had, by all! Even if you can't come for the weekend, call in just for a day visit, we'll keep some biscuits stale for you😃

Another update...we now have a proper septic connected loo near the campfire area so for those who don't have an inboard loo the loo problem is solved. (and for those with an inboard loo you can use it too!!). Several projects underway...do we double the size of the existing undercover area or build a bigger more central one? the jury is still out on that one 2 agree and one disagrees (but that is because most of the work will fall on him to do!!) More water points have gone in. Firewood is being collected. We have even had to start mowing...rain followed by sunny days is making the grass grow!! Don't forget if you are heading north or south before the get together you are most welcome to call in for a night or two or just a cuppa.
Yes it is. We don't mind what "group" you belong to . All are welcome. We have full time nomads, weekenders and holidayers, campers and tenters coming so a real mix of people who all have the same basic idea of getting out there and enjoying what our wonderful land has to offer. Hope to see you here.

Reminder for Sufil's GTG in WA early October 2015....
We now have an external septic loo so that may help a few people who don't have porta potties. (the rest of you can use it too!!) Don't forget it is the middle weekend of the school holidays so if you want to stay off the road for the holidays that is fine by us.
See you in September or October or when you get here. The wildflowers should be out, we have cleared half the back of the block so not as many as last year but there should still be lots around.
Getting closer - currently inParkes NSW with Darrell and Sandra, and the mutts. They won't. Be coming over, Darrell had a knee replacement, and complications are keeping him here for another six weeks or so, then somewhere warm for a while. It is freezing here - 9 degrees at the moment. See you so One!
