Damp patch under ensuite window - Jayco Sterling 2008

Hi all.  First time posting for me.  I have a damp patch- approx. 6ins wide and 2ins high directly over the vanity bench and approx. 6ins under the rear window. I have replaced the sealant around the outside of the window and also checked under the external window rubber seal.  This morning I decided to see if the water was perhaps running along a ledge from behind the shower taps, but the area is bone dry.  Any thoughts/experiences that might help me? Thanks.

Welcome to the gang TeePee, enjoy here and out in the playground.

Unfortunately leaks can come from nowhere near the noticed wet patch so can be very difficult to find. I hope you can sort it out though. Not much help I know, sorry.

Suggest you give the Jayco forum a go with your problem...

I have looked on the Jayco Forum several times but can't find anything relating to leaking windows or damp patches

Hi Guru.   No damp patches anywhere else. Water pipes are lower than the damp patch anyway.  It's a real mystery!

Could there be a leak around one of the rear lights?

Look higher and either side of window and forward of leak,,, water travels and gravity and internal frames assist it VERY well.

Look for seals/sealant not applied correctly or damaged or anything different from the rest of the roof ect.

Good luck

Could be condensation pooling into one or two spots
