I'm not much of beer drinker but when I was on a tour in China a few years ago with every meal came a glass of beer. I found it quite good & was surprised to find it so pleasant.

Many of the 'fine European ales" in Dan Murpheys have 'brewed by CUB' in the very fine print. Still tastes great.

A lot of overseas beers are brewed in different countries under licence to the original producer. Some are good but others are very different to the original product. And yes Dan's quite often have different international beers on sale that are brewed either in Aus, or another different country from the original. But sometimes you get lucky and find they have the original imported version on sale. Another good tip is that they often have beers at up to 40% when they are close to "Best Before" date. I often go into Dan's to browse if I am close by.. it's just a hobby ... hic...
