Ranger Caravans

Any one got CURRENT info on Ranger caravans. I know that the company was deregistered a few years ago and have read  a heap of stuff online. I found a couple with single beds - would like to do a swap but just not sure if the company is ok now. The one I saw was a 2011 model so I assume they are up and running again. Would like to hear from anyone who has owned one recently.

Vida, we bought a Ranger in September 2011. We had some issues with the van, as you do, and went to the factory to have these addressed as the dealer was not interested.
I understand that in about 2012/13, the company ceased trading. The factory was in Moorebank, Sydney Australia. I spoken to the dealer where we bought the van and they are now selling Beyond caravans. Warren Quirk use to run Caramart in Port Macquarie and sold the business to these new people and did a shonky in the process.
As happens quite a lot, at least in Australia, some companies close down only to reopen under a different name. So Ranger could be operating but under a name which I am not aware of.
With regards to your single bed swap, what exactly do you mean?

Thank you for that Larry. So do you still have the Ranger and if so can you get parts for it? Unless they use something different I assume there are generic parts that fit most vans?
I wanted to swap my Jayco expanda for a caravan with single beds and the 2011 Ranger I found on line looks perfect but......

Vida, we traded it in for a custom (our floorplan) Eagle. 90% or so of caravans (at least the ones built in Australia) use Camec, Dometic or Thetford bits and pieces. What model Ranger is it? Ours was a Panorama 21'6. Good van, metal frame therefore no wood rot and yes I did put the roof to test by climbing on top and giving it a good wash with a broom. Wouldn't do that to a wood framed van.
Give us more information ie, how much etc. I would imagine it would not be too difficult to have a bed swap. You will loose the underbed storage but can have some under the singles I guess.
