The same with Stephen's leg. They just don't know how to deal with it so send him home with referrals which never eventuate.
With an unusual situation like both of them and their legs the hospitals do not have a clue. Stephen usually gets "Oh my god, what happened" the it will be "Come here guys and have a look at this" to other medical staff.
