I'm sorry but being "old school" is only a passing phase - give it 20 years and it will all be gone simply because those who know about manners and consideration to others will be....dead and buried.
I'm firmly New School. Lots of bad things associated with Old School, along with the goods. Basically I'm against domestic violence, beating kids with sticks, discrimination against people on the basis of skin colour, and I don't care who people want to love.

Good manners, respecting elders and the like is old school....so define new school ? Throw out the old and bring in the new ?
Anything goes, political correctness, pragmatism, free to speak about anything but the things that build a strong and free society ?
Let's face it, we are on the long and slippery slope of seeing our old values and morality being called 'old fashioned' and our children and grandchildren will pay the price of new school thinking.. As a part time secondary school teacher, I find it appalling when I hear the language and see attitudes displayed by our youth in the school grounds, cyber bullying, porn being freely swapped on mobiles, and nothing is done by those who are in authority because of what the repercussions might be for those who dare to raise their voice.
