My pick would be the Lakeside Tourist Park. Delightful.

Gday...

This website gives a fairly good indication of the Plantation Campground -

http://www.gocampingaustralia.com/grampians---plantation-campground.html

This is the Parks Victoria site - there is more info in the menu on the left hand side of the page -

http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/grampians-national-park/accessibility/plantation-campground2

Hope that gives you some idea and is of some assistance.

cheers - John

If you are talking about Stapylton campground at the end of Plantation road near Laharum you are out of luck, it has been closed for about 2 years due to some form of asbestos being found there in the ground then it was damaged in the January 2014 fires that went through the area and so far nothing has been done to repair it. My inlaws were talking to a ranger near there 2 weekends ago & he says there are plans to redo it & 1/2 for camping & 1/2 for caravans will be the result so that will be good when it is done as it probably wasn't very caravan friendly the way it was before. Still a lot of roads closed / locked off in the area 14 months after the fires so access to some areas is difficult or not possible at all in some cases. (we have a family holiday house in the area so have a fair idea of what is going on)

Gday...

If you check the Parkweb website in my earlier post you will notice that Plantation and Staplyton campgrounds a different camps.

Staplyton campground is temporarily closed as you advise - http://parkweb.vic.gov.au/explore/parks/grampians-national-park/accessibility/stapylton-campground2

Cheers - John

Yep, that 1 would be ok I believe, don't think any fires went through that area.
