Brisbane to Perth, my best mate has just done this trip on a 750 motorcycle, SOLO.  It's further than travelling across Europe (over 4000 Ks) and nearly as far as Ewan and Charlie are famous for doing in their long way series on T.V.  This overlay will bring the enormity of the trip into perspective.

My best mate is a 62 year old woman who posts on the forum as Azurepink and has recently posted a picture of her motorcycle on this very thread.  She did the trip on her own and free camped in her swag every night. It took her 8 days, only costing her $50.00 a day in fuel and tucker (and a sore Bum). I reckon this is an awesome achievement and I would be willing to bet not many men would be game to take it on. Congrats and big pats on the back for you mate, you are awesome.
