caravan views

Gday to all and hope you are having a great time.

My wife and i are looking at a caravan brand   Living Edge Bellagio approx 21 ft  (built in victoria)

I would like some feedback on this type of brand if possible.

What suspension would people recommend for general towing around Australia but not the real off road.

EG

Simplicity / cruisemaster / airbag or rocker suspension?

We will be looking at the free camping idea as this looks great.

Welcome to the gang Russell, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I have Roller Rocker suspension with a shocker to each wheel, I have twin Axle. Seems a nice ride but haven't done many KM at this stage. I know it handles gravel and bumpy roads well though as I have been on some. I too won't be taking the van "off road".

Thanks for reply Doug

The suspension that i have seen on the Living Edge van only has just springs.

No doubt i could change when we have it built.

Hi Russell. Another idea is to go see a few caravan repairers in your area and ask their opinions. They don't sell 'vans, so don't have a vested interest, but they do know about vans. If you talk to a few and tell them what you want out of it, they will suggest a few vans (hopefully wont contradict each other and just make you confused lol)

The other way to google both the van name and the manufacturer name and see if there are customer reviews showing on the search results - these can be very enlightening

Good luck!!

Hi, We have a 22' van with CONTROL RIDER independent suspension and really impressed  how smooth the ride is in the van as nothing moves or shakes about when travelling also the van is very stable over the worst of roads and passing large vehicles. Thoroughly recommend.
