My ibis air con in my van has gone on the blink, throwing it out there if any one has had the same problem, turn on air con, fan works ok motor trying to kick in but won't start. Fan will continue to work. Would appreciate any feed back. Van only 5 years old, Roadstar limited edition.
I would suggest you locate the Ibis service agent closest to you for service. Sounds like a problem with the compressor or maybe a capacitor if it's a capacitor start.

Did it pop the fuse on single phase? Be careful with 3 phase as you may have connected (highly unlikely) to a delta system rather than across a phase in star (confusion there with earth and neutral). Best not to fiddle with it. Single phase appliances, need just that "single phase".
Problem could be in the air con or, as stated volt drop problems when the compressor kicks in (at start up compressor motors draw a lot of current).
I would contact Ibis for a service and advice. Please whatever you do dont fiddle with 3 phase, may be very dangerous to you.

I had trouble with my Ibis. I took it to the techos and after checking it out the only fault they found was that the thermostat probe
was not positioned correctly when it was installed in the caravan. Simply snipping the zip tie around the probe and positioning the probe near the air intake position.
Once that was done the problem was fixed and I have experienced no more trouble.
Many thanks for you input just had it fixed at air con repairs in StrathPine, the capacitor had failed and they fitted a new one, 40.00 for the unit and 250.00 to have the air con checked out and fitted. Happy with the service and ready to hit the road again in Octaber for 4 weeks. They informed me that the capacitor goes when the unit is operated in extra am heat for long periods of not sure if this so
