Just a hi from a couple of newbies

Hi all

We would like to introduce ourselves.

we are transitioning to retirement, and looking forward to doing some serious travelling.

We are going on a 2 month trip from Melbourne up to Townsville and then from there not sure, depending on time but would like to come down the centre. any ideas on places to stay are welcome. some free camping but mostly parks are on our agenda s we have a dog.

look forward to hearing from you all.

Cheers

Welcome to the gang PKD2GO, enjoy here and out in the playground.

I retired 3 years ago and never looked backed once. I don't even know how I had time to go to work really.

I will be in Townsville myself early May to mid September.

Maybe get a copy of "Camps Australia Wide" and "Caravan Parks australia Wide". You could also get "Wickicamps". They will all help with your Question.

Whatever you do or where ever you stay, enjoy and keep safe.

Welcome from us too and I suggest you check out the Recommendations section on this forum. You should find some places there.
