Bushfire ADVICE for North West Coastal Highway between Whim Creek and Great Northern Highway in the City of Karratha

 The bushfire is moving slowly along both sides of the North West Coastal Highway.
 Winds are currently coming from a northerly direction. 
 It is out of control and unpredictable.
 The fire front is two kilometres long. 

 The incident was reported at 6pm on Thursday 5 February 2015.
 The cause of the fire is lightning and has burnt through 10,000 hectares.
 The City of Karratha is managing the fire.
