Hi

We have a family member down on his luck who is looking for long term stay caravan park in NSW.  Can anyone recommend such a place.

Thank you.no

There are a number of permanent caravan parks on the Central Coast NSW, but some I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.
One that might be worth having a look at would be Mecca on Rutleys Rd Wyee it is owned by the same people that have the Big4 in Mannering Park.
As far a I know it is all permanents or holiday permanents I have never heard of any major problems with this park and I live quite close by.
It is at the southern end of Lake Macquarie and is situated on the shores of Macquarie Lake.
I have no idea if they have any vacancies or what the rates are.
This is their website    http://www.meccavillage.com.au/

Cheers

David

Try contacting parks - there are a few coast that are willing to accommodate long-termers, within the constraints of the council rules. F'rinstance, you stay 5 weeks, go away for a couple of nights, and then come back. That way, the park is within the rules, and you have a permanent base.

Try (not 100% sure if emails are still correct, but it will give you a start point):
Balranald Caravan Park - minpark2@bigpond.com
Tooleybuc - macarole@bigpond.com
Fort Courage Wentworth - fortcourage64@bigpond.com
Howlong Caravan Park - info@howlongcaravanpark.com.au
Tuross Lakeside Tourist Park (80 day limit but may be amenable to arrangements as mentioned above) - holiday@turosslakeside.com.au

Theres a lot of permanent/long termers at Sussex Inlet. Try googling for contact details.
Don't know if there are any vacancies, but I reckon its the best place in Australia!
