Avan Window hinges

We have a Eurostar 685 and yesterday one of our windows blew out in a big gust of wind. The window was half open and it pushes out and locks at adjustable widths. After this incident husband wants to change to arms that slide up and then they are screwed tight to lock. Has anyone else done this? Suggestions please.

Haven't done this but Caravansplus has everything, we are looking at replacing the stable door on our Avan Liam

Hey Dave a cheaper option is to screw the two doors together. Works fine for us.
