Took a whole heap of 3rd and Youngest daughters clothing to the recycle bin, as she is probably fleeing the nest. Went shopping whilst the missus is at work at the RMHospital. I'm Prepping for night shift now, pre shift nap.... dammit. Not much longer hopefully.

You've got to get your mail and parcels somehow :)

Hi Rocket,

We have been back a week from Bingara, a week of Veterans Golf...great spot.

Heading to Gloucester Thursday for 3 days to meet up with old sailing friends (yes we are all a lot older). Some, like us are now yachtless but are experiencing the dry land cruising. Haven't seen some of them since 2003. Looking forward to.

Plenty cheers!! biggrin

I greased both grease nipples on the van.biggrin I had put my cousin Kerry's (KJB) 8mm films to USB flash drive and he was coming to pick them up so I asked him if he could bring a grease gun. Sure enough the nipples got greased. thumbsup.gif

You are a devious Gentleman, Paul, just like me, ha ha ha

Without being told/asked, I changed the engine oil and filter, on the wife's car, (to get in the good books)

I then casually mentioned, that as I had recently change out a front wheel bearing, on the Motorhome, we should plan a little trip, to check it out, before we head east on boxing day

Fingers crossed, we have a short trip coming up, ha ha ha

Having a very pleasant relaxing day at the Boulia racecourse.

The Camel races start on Friday. Lots of camels here already.

We had a week camping on the banks of the Bouke River. It  really is one of the best free campsites in the country.

 Valkie hi.

Sounds like a busy day from one end of NSW to the other, that is the whole of NSW is it not?

Wait to you retire and can get a all day ticket to ride on NSW transport for $2.50. Best deal ever.

We grew up on the Coast, Wife at Wyoming and I at The Entrance moved north sometime back and we wanted to spend time in Sydney.

In 5 days left car and caravan near Newcastle trained to Sydney central, into a rented unit then played on trains, light rail and ferries with an odd bus ride and then on day 5 back to Awaba all at $2.50 a day, awesome way to see around Sydney town and travel on the ferries to see the beautiful habour. Of cause Manly for fish and chips on the Prome.

We live in Brisbane not as cheap but with changes coming in, it will be free travel between certain times of the day, very user friendly.

Enjoyed a few good meals at the Wyong RSL , Gorokan Club and Killarney Sports Club.

Cool day here in Brissy.

With all the rain it is a good time to get out & weed the gardens.

Though I think that I'll start by cleaning out the drains as I ponder the catastrophic share markets & try to rationalise my advisor's advice to hang in there & stick to our plan.  At least it will get me away from the media & the continual rehashing and examination of the Corona virus issue from every possible angle.  They do everything possible to create a panic while all the time saying 'no need to panic'!

Edit ..

Well 5hrs later .. cleaning the drain lead into something bigger.  Relaid a section of the plastic box grated drain to improve the run off, which in turn lead to relaying several brick pavers that had been lifted by some tree roots.  Luckily I had a bag of premix concrete & half a bag of mortar in the shed.  A few years old but probably still good enough for this job.

Almost time now (4PM .=. Drinkies time) for some soothing red medicine to fix the aching joints.

Oh ... the gardens will have to wait until tomorrow.

We have pulled into woodford qld . We have a housesit soon for 5 weeks. Have not heard if they will cancel or not. They are going to england. Am a bit concerned about showgrounds shutting their gates As this virus takes hold. If we get it, where do we self isolate? Few things to ponder.

At Mt Ive Station in the Gawler Ranges, near Lake Gairdner. Working on the property for the lead up to the Dry Lake Racing on the salt lake. Today we heard, due to the corona virus, the races would be postponed..... Buggar, on our bucket list for the past 8 years.

So, now, wondering what we will do next. A geocaching event at Easter is bound to be cancelled as well!
