Not only there KJ. Here at Greens Lake, Central VIC it's hot as. As what I here you ask. Just HOT mate. Water is good though.

40 degrees inland esperance, those on coast lucky as breeze coming off water. Supposed to be worse later in week. On the good news side heard inland Queensland had first significant rain in years.

official temp in Perth today was 44.4 - highest recorded in 7 years. Out of control fire in Bellup - in the Perth Hills and people being told to either get out or in other areas stay and defend.

WA always warms up when the inland desert winds are stronger than the the Fremantle Doctor - an onland wind which comes off the Indian Ocean
