Have never used one of these but it looks like a great little tool for those recharging jobs.

Yes Judy, I am going to use it for Fox Tv Box when free camping, also CD player outside, can use for all Mobiles and Laptops if you want to
but I charge my Mobiles Tablet etc direct through 12 volt, great little inverter to have, very handy for any small wattage things you may have.

Be careful Barina as at that price this will not be a pure sine wave inverter but a modified sine wave and may be unsuitable to run electronic devices.

Definitely ensure you get a pure sine wave inverter. I have run standard TV, Foxtel satellite box and phone and computer rechargers from a 300 W pure sine wave with just the one original battery and have had no issues. I since purchased two more through eBay. First was a 2000W to run coffee machine and microwave (couple of 30 sec bursts to heat up the milk) in my van I have just sold. And now just bought 5000W Pure Sine Wave from the same eBay seller for a little over $400. In my case of course I have additional batteries and solar panels in the van I have just sold and new one I am buying. Seller was "51anamall".

You can get 12 volt connecter for your Tablet like you get with your Mobiles to charge in your car or van, Jaycar sell Laptop ones that you set to the watts of your Laptop, they are usually 19 watts, I bought the 150 watt to use for CD player and couple of other small wattage things I have to charge when on the road, you will be ok to charge mobiles etc if you want to, I will be doing it sometimes, no problem with them, I have a friend who has been using for LTs,Mobiles etc for the last 9 months he has been on the road.

Certified with Australian Standards

Many people make the mistake of purchasing cheap inverters off the internet only to find that the product they have purchased is not made under Australian standards. This unit is fully complaint & approved for Australia. Certification is important for safety. Without certification you are risking injury & damage where such damage to your car, boat or caravan will not be covered by insurance. Buy top quality Australian approved products only!

Did you know nearly 80% of inverters sold are not Pure Sine wave, I do have a larger one 1000w that is Pure Sine wave.

OK go to Dick Smith or JB Hi Fi and get 12 volt chargers for your Tablet and Mobile, that is the best way to go, or buy the Inverter on your first post.

We use the Weaco sine wave inverter ( same style as the first post ) to charge things.
Got from Jaycar a 12 volt unit that sends out 19 volts for the laptop. Has a built in surge protector.
TV runs on 12 volts & 240.
With these and several cigarette lighter plugs in the 'van & tug we have our power needs covered.
Works for us.
