Push out style motorhome windows

During some windy weather just prior to Christmas one of the support arms on one of my push out windows snapped off when a strong gust of wind went through.  The remaining arm does hold the window open but I need to find a way to 'help' it so that it too does not break, these window parts are really expensive and I should like to find some way of doing it 'on the cheap' if I can....any ideas?

Gday...

I find it difficult to visualise your type of window confuse

Can you put up a photo of the window ... with the damaged and perhaps the good support arm?

It may help in giving advice of what type of arm and where one may be obtained.

Is your window one like this ?

I would envisage the push out windows to be the Dometic/Seits type. The Camec/Odyssey type are wind out types. I can't quickly find the struts for the Seits type on the CaravasPluss site. I think you may have to contact Dometic to find a source for them.
