My contacts tell me it is just a minor cosmetic revision to align it with the Everest when it is released.

There may also be an aspect of "spoiler" in the timing of the facelift, to distract form the significant releases expected from other manufacturers. Expect a couple of new utes, and at least one of the big wagons to be completely replaced, not just upgraded.

The new Ranger is having a power boost and also quite a few creature comfort upgrades.
really going bush we do not need all the gizmo's but guess it helps to sell them.
I also need a tug and favoring the Ranger but will try and hang out for the new model.
