Why am i not supprised; I took a few weeks out in hopes that  the air may clear again. Sadly not,stills smells of rats the **** still continues & has got deeper.

My last post was of a important nature as many are now using this device; again it was taken off topic & turned into an argument by a person who thinks he knows the world about every thing, his last comment proved just how wrong he was ; his own comment  was so stupid it was laughable; shot himselt in both feet at the same time yet he expects people to believe him. It caused my post to be closed before any one else could comment. A total wast of my time & effort.

Another bloody win for the 2% minority.

Cooee will be busy for some time cleaning up all the decorated trees in the country, there are thousands of termite mounds in the NT dressed to the fashon, that will keep her quite for a while .

I have come to the conclusion that its pointles trying to post things of importance as it just gets destroyed by people with little to do.

I can find better things to do with my time so hoo roo.

I try to ignore people I regard as idiots, But its hard sometime, and I have spent the last 25 years dealing with the public.We certainly have some lunnies here at times, who usually post when stoned or drunk, or something similar. Went to the relevant threads re. Cooee and the tree.  Got so disgusted that I tried to PM her.  Guess what !!!   You can't.

Hope she's happy with herself.   I wish people would get their facts correct, before posting.  It would save a hell of a lot of Angst !!!

And if she think NUDES are pornographic, would she destroy a large percentage of the great ART of the world ?  In a way, I feel sorry for her.

I'm glad I don't live in her world.

Let's just let it go and move on as suggested by many members now. I was one of the naughty people that had to make changes and I have moved on so lets's move.

Hello

Being new in here I have just read the posts regarding the WDH that justcrusin put up in the past, then took a look at some electrical posts, it seems oldbore is on the money.. we have 2 experts who are called Peter. expert being defined as EX meaning hasbeen and spurt a drip under pressure.

I have only one question. Who died and made one or two people expert in all areas?

I was of the opinion that this forum was a friendly place to be to gain help and advice, share stories and experiences.. NOT a platform for self proclaimed experts to pontificate about how good they are...

Do I have the correct impression of this forum, or am I sadly mistaken? BTW a great way to attract new members... NOT!!!!

I posted this in an earlier post you may not have read ... It is time we all began using the forum in a way that enhances its reputation rather than detracts from it.

Hence, I said Please can all members of this forum simply contribute in a positive way, sharing their experiences of the GN lifestyle and the aspects of that lifestyle that have drawn us all to this wonderful forum.

It does not matter what your background, age, gender, political or musical (or any other) persuasion, preferred camping style, caravan, motorhome, campervan, tent or even sleeping in the back of your car.

Every member has so much to offer and share - irrespective of how long they have been on this earth or the time they have been on this forum.

That includes the people you have referred to as well. We all know and understand the majority of the regular posters on the forum. So it is time to live and let live read posts with both eyes wide open but then close one eye and move on.

Thanks, rockylizard, wise advice.  Just a reminder that we want this forum to be a positive place.  It would be great if we could all move on from worrying about the forum itself and post about issues relating to the grey nomad lifestyle.

Thanks you rockylizard for the words of welcome, and the explanation. I was referred to this forum by my brother (who has since left, Phil C) after I started to take on the same lifestyle as him and his wife (a great life).

I must say, I was a wee bit startled by some of the dogmatic posts, however, as you correctly say "live and let live".
