Been admiring the pics and wondered at your gear - brilliant pics and now I see your gear - wonderful shots and great humour and many thanks.

What about =

Bird on the right "Change the F Stop back a bit"

Bird on the left " Are you going to try this with that shutter speed ?"

Bird in the middle "It's obvious that you've forgotten everything that I've told you !!"

Ha, ha! Sounds like you are into your photography too! It would be interesting to hear what preferences people have for brand of camera etc. and gear they have. Best thing I bought for the Nikon was a GPS so I can look on the map and see exactly where we were. Funny how you can forget where that shot number 2057 was taken! I know lots of cameras have that as standard now days. A great feature.

Yeah Brownie - still a neophyte - but Santa brought me a 610 with (24-85mm) for Xmas - so now I'm saving for a 300mm and a decent macro lens.

A few pics on here =

(sorta pleased as I got 44 on Google maps now)

Hi TechnoGypsy, Really good shots there! First thing I notice is the great balance in the shots. Very nice. I have quite a few lenses now, but got a bit tired of changing them all the time. Last trip I bought a 28-300 lens and that stays on most of the time. It has great versatility. Have you put many of you pictures on Google Earth? You can also put them on WikiCamps. It is always great to show others shots of the camp sites you stay in.
You have a very nice camera there. More megapixels than my D3s, so have fun. My only advice with lenses is that you get what you pay for. Better to save up for the better quality lenses I reckon. Cheers, Bob

Hi Greg9, Very funny, I'm sure if you could take selfie with that camera our grand kids would work it out.
