Bit late in answering you Dreamcatcher.

I changed from a 2007 Petrol Manual Rodeo to 2014 Diesel Auto Colorado LTZ pulling just over 2 ton when fully loaded.

From a tug point of view this was a big improvement. $per km is also improved.

Overall, I am very happy but the only thing that really sends me around the bend it that the stupid thing thinks its a Volvo - open the door and jump out with the keys in the ignition when hooking up and "ding dong ding dong" loud enough to wake the neighbours if departing early, not to mention how irritated I become. Spoken to Holden Service several times and they continually say it can not be turned off.

As with the Rodeo, it is a good vehicle for adding extra wiring (camera, fridge, etc) just come through the floor on passenger side, under the carpet and out under the center console.

We have a current 2014 Holden colarado duel cab and love it. Have had a letter for a recall for the dash but they tell me they do not have the parts as yet. Would love wipers on the back canopy because of dirt and mud but not sure if you can. Also would love pack on roof of canopy but it is holden one and cannot have normal one so not sure where to get one.

Love the Collie, towing 2.6t van for past couple of years done 95,000km now.  No problems and we average 13.1L/100km sitting on or near speed limits.  Good not be happier with it.

Cheers.
