LOOKING FOR 2004 MERCEDES SPRINTER 15" SPARE WHEEL

Where are these little devils? Need one for my sprinter but I live down at Rye on the mornington peninsula and cant find one anywhere!

Any advice gratefully received. And yes I have tried Mercedes wreckers I know and sprinter spares.

Thanks everyone

Hi didi, If you want to contact this mob in Perth, they are wrecking 4-5 Sprinters at the moment.

Hi Didi,

I have a Sprinter also. I am getting around my area a bit looking for a few bits. I could probably pick up one if you cannot get one from other avenues. PM me if you wish me to do anything. What size is on the side of the tire.smile

Hey thank you so much Jaahn. I live at Rye on Mornington Peninsula thouh. But if you are in the area I would so much appreciate it! Someone did try to sell me one that the wheel rim was all rusted on and no tread on the tyre. And I can see one over in South Australia - but its a bit far lol.

Anyway its a 225/70 R15 tyre 15" single.

Thanks again Didi

saw one on Gumtree the other day...with a good tyre....but it's in SA.
$50 will do it...I checked...sorry, can't tell you the number, but should be an easy search.
Problem is picking it up, of course.

 Didi,

There are freight options you know. Too big and heavy for Australia post but plenty of other options. A tire and wheel does not need any wrapping confuse Just a label.

Look online for something like "http://freightcalculator.com.au/" and see what the quotes are worth ? If you get the person to take it to a freight depot and you pickup from a depot your end it can be quite reasonable. Wreckers send stuff like that around the country every day.biggrin

That was what I had in mind as I will not be down your way probably in the near future.disbelief

I bought 7 19.5 new rims from South Aust . Freight was $50 to Camden..
The tyres on Mitsi bus was 18" .. No such tyre in Aust..
Generic rims fit Isuzu, Mitsi etc..

YAAAY! FOUND ONE! Actually it was from Josh at Eurostar Deisals in Hallam where they service and repair mainly mercedes sprinters. Id contacted them ages ago and Josh found one for me! He'd even gone to the trouble of finding me a hub cap which I was missing too. The customer Service here is awesome and the guys are really great. Brought it home yesterday.

So thank you to everyone here for all your help too. Much appreciated.Cheers Didi
