WANT SOMETHING FOR NOTHING (WELL, ALMOST NOTHING)??

"The Australian" newspaper are currently doing a deal.

If you take out a 1 yr on-line subscription which includes all of that Groups daily papers (mainly Eastern States ones) it will cost you $299.

You get via JB HiFi delivered to your door a top of the range 8" Samsung tablet valued at $279 for that subscription price.

Don't rush to get the calculator out - Ive already done it for you:) -that means you get a free android tablet for $299 and a years worth of newspaper subscriptions.  They also supply you free apps for the tablets and you can few the papers on other devices like a laptop or desktop or whatever, just by entering your password.

Pretty good deal - subscribed today, on-line to all their papers a few mins later and my new (my old one needed replacing) tablet will arrive at my house by courier within 5 working days

If you want to find out more - "theaustralian.com.au"

That sounds like a good deal but, I would be looking very closely at the fine print,

Nothing for nothing now days, there always seems to be a catch there somewhere.

By all means, check the deal out. I have been subscribing to The Australian Monday to Saturday for the past 5 or so years @ $27.95/4 weeks delivered. The subscription has only been increased to $44.00/4 weeks delivered. Still a good saving. Bear in mind that while they say the tablet is valued @ $279, they have obviously bought a job lot at a very good price.

It seems that the offer is for The Australian Business Spectator, not the Australian Newspaper.
