Caravan awning yellowish color

does anyone have any ideas about how I can remove this yellowish color that's appeared on the top of my vinyl awning?  It's at the very top section, when you roll up your awning it's the part thats exposed, so it's only about 150mm wide but the full length of the awning. I have tried vinyl cleaner which lightened it but within about a week it was getting a dark color again. The awning is just 2 years old

cheers Stuart

That's the bit of the awning that is exposed while the awning is rolled up. Ours is 4 years old but that section has always been dirtier than the rest, especially when we were in the Pilbara/ Kimberley where the dust is red because its iron-rich.

Regular cleaning with a soft sponge thingy on a long handle I got from super-cheap sort of keeps it ok. We use a cleaner suitable for fibreglass for the van, and it seems to be ok for the awning. For mould use a cup of vinegar to a bucket of water, always hose off after cleaning.
