BCF (owned by the same company as Rays) also do 9 kg tanks at just under $20, Pity Bunnings and Marsters don't do refills - they swap only and that's much more expensive.

unless Im reading the Rays catalogue wrong that Paul has posted, the usual price is $29.99 and now reduced to $17.99 with a savings of $5. Unless Im really thick today, and Ive got the advert wrong, then that's a savings of $10

You're reading it wrong - the $29.99 is the price of an empty 9KG pol cylinder....not the normal gas price and the $5 saving is off the pol cylinder.smile  Unless I'm reading it wrong?confuse

Regards

Bunnings do exchange cylinders for $22.98 I don't see that as very expensive, certainly saves time, and if your cylinder is due for testing much cheaper.

I queried it with Rays. The $29.99 is a FULL and new 9 kg cylinder and the $17.99 is for a refill of your owned tank. So we all had it wrong:)

Rays agree their advert is confusing and say they will be more careful not to confuse multiple offers in one advert in the future

Anybody in Adelaide getting refills under $20 in BCF or Rays?

We used Bunnings for a 9 KG that was just about expired. Less than $20 and 5 more years on the cylinder. Can't complain.
Paid $30 for a 9KG fill up in Glen Innes 3 weeks ago. Offf !

It is very obvious that there is a price for refills $18 and a price for a bottle purchase but no way could I interpret that the $30 bottle would be full.
