My Bucket List

The older you get everything becomes harder to do. Hence I decided to build a more suitable "small" camper easily set up on my own...  I have a JAYCO Dove Outback parked at home that has become too hard to use for me.. I decided to build my own Beach Shak and once again travel the East Coast.  Construction finished about early October and a test trip to Bribie Island immediately showed up a few problems.. Adjusted those and set of again this time to Baffle Creek and Agnes Water area.. Great trip - tows really well at only a very small extra fuel cost and then the weather started to get very hot.  40 degree+ heat and a freezer running on 12V at minus 5 degree C was not sustainable and I got dehydrated.   After a few days in the bush...  Common sense decided to go home make further modifications to poptop, slide out front extension, power system etc and then to head off again in the cooler months next year.

I'll add a couple of pics if I can find out how to.

See you on the beach sometime next year...IMG_0811.JPGMBS Logo!.png

Thanks Cooee & Doug for your comments.
It was amazing on my trips how many people came over to have a look at My Beach Shak and
discuss future developments... Look out for Mk III next year
Happy travels
Sam
