Keeping up with it all

Hi everyone, I see more than 2500 views of this site in the last 24 hours. Because of work I am not able to be a grey nomadic at this time but maybe one day soon. But for years if have had much enjoyment and learned all sorts of things from the many posts on this site. I gather so many people also visit and enjoy reading all the topics and also learning. I have noticed some people get to feel a bit of angst if others read and don't post which often makes them even more reluctant to join in. If you want to partake in a public forum then you must be prepared to accept that others can post and maybe it will not be to your liking...... But hey so what !! Just hang in they and keep smiling we just need to remember to relax..... Hey we're all going to die one day so live for the moment enjoy each other and what we have, and how lucky we all are.

Harrah for a great forum

Yep, I too have learned a heap of invaluable info from this forum. Vic was one of the nomads who "held my hand" when I was a newbie and helped me to settle in. I've also learned during my time on the net that people come and go, and life goes on, just as it does in "real" life.

Dealing successfully with life, and reducing stress, is often a case of having realistic expectations. The higher they are, the more likely you'll be disappointed. Hehe. So just go with the flow, I reckon.

Mmmm - the Serenity Prayer "change what you can and accept what you can't change" and you can't change other people

Yep...........Im over my bitching now and lets make this forum even more dynamic and exciting by positive posts - either general stuff or techo stuff (I read some of it and it sounds critical of others, but Im sure its not meant that way - you just cant see the person making the written remarks - how many friends fall-out on Facebook).

But I do have one last bitch!! Im a a neat C/P at Northam, but the little flying insects here (theryre like midgies, but don't bite) are bloody horrendous at night - cant turn on any outside lights and you open and close your 'van door as quickly as possible and make sure you have plenty of fly spray. And Tony Abbott thinks hes got a tough life LOL

confuseconfuseI believe we only need one principle to make this forum even better than it already is and that's to treat all other members with the dignity and respect that you expect from them. biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
