I read somewhere (I think in our forums) of a town or shire who collected shopping receipts from campers in a box as they departed the free camp, maybe a showgound, to help assess the value of those visitors to the community.
Can anyone help me find that article please?

On freechoicecamps.com.au you will find all the stories indexed under state and town. They also have a Facebook page which has the Caboolture showground story. Both sites are a very useful source of information.
