Been reading about Gail Kelly, retiring CEO at Westpac. One of the truly great women CEOs in this Country... It's been in all the newspapers, so you can read her achievements yourselves. Another woman I greatly admire is Julie Bishop. That lady would make a first rate Prime Minster...

Since light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
Yes we often forget about the important part the ladies played in our military. We have a number of WW2 lady veterans in our RSL club. Some of the stories these folks tell will curl your hair (no pun intended).

I worked for an ex-army nurse- WW2, and at that time she was the only female member of the local RSL. She was a fantastic nurse, although as a 17 year old she could be scary when she roared down the ward at one!!
