When I mark  all  forums "Mark all as read" they are marked as read but when I shut down the computer and restart the computer the topic that I have not read are showing up as not read.

Anybody now the problem

I would say it's because someone has posted on that topic since you clicked on Mark All As Read.
Brings it to life again.
I'm sure that is how it's supposed to work.
Does with mine too.

Do you mean that the topics you have read are showing up as not read when you restart the computer?

If so are you logged in when you restart the computer ?

I mean that if I have not read a topic or a post and do not want to read them - I hit" Mark All As Read" - they are marked as read but when I log out and turn computer off and restart, log in, they are not marked as read

You need to tick the box and remain signed in for the Mark all Posts Read to work.

I agree with HW. Future posts will show normally after the time that you press Mark As Read.

Hi

It is old posts that I have not read but marked as read and appear as not read when I log back on ( I am not talking about "future posts")
