Breakaway Battery Monitor

We'll I just made up my own Breakaway Battery Monitor,I bought a Battery and Altinator tester $20.00,and 9mtrs of 4 mill wire $35.00 ,I hard wired it through the van to the plug then hard wired it through the Prado to the plug through a on off switch on the dash ,the reason for running it through a switch is so I don't have LED lights in my face all the time,I realisei don't have to have one in VIC but if the law alters I have got it.

Found a Dual Battery monitor (with on/off switch) on Ebay $39.00, 9meters 0f 15mm shrink tube $7.20 already had some cable. I ran one active from breakaway Battery and one from Van deep cycles one neutral (because its a common neutral in van) tracked them along existing trailer connection, heat shrinked it all together and used the double Narva 12 pin plug to transfer the signal to car then just wired car to suit.
Result is perfect, satifies NSW crazy rules allows me to monitor all batteries and am able to switch it off when it bothers me.
