I recall something similar a few years ago when a guy put his young son onto a whale carcass floating around in the water between Kangaroo Is &  the mainland.  I think that  he lost his job a a deckie on the KI Ferry as a result.

What I see is a bold recklessness..... Perhaps the same person would rush into a burning building to save a life where perhaps you and I would hesitate...would he still be called an idiot? You might wonder what this person's destiny is.... Cheers George & fatdog
