I have been extremely fortunate in receiving tickets to the 2015 (centenary) ANZAC day ceremony at Gallipoli. WOW.
There I will have the greatest of pleasure to say" Thank You".
There are a lot of things that I want to say thank you to my Pop (father)& all of the other Guys that served there. But I won't go into those very private & personal emotions here.
Just thought I would share my great pleasures here.
Our cruise ship anchored just off shore in Anzac Cove last year. It was my privilege to be in the choir that sang at a dawn service there. So I was able to say 'thank you' as you will be doing. Great experience. My grandfather was there but he was eventually sent home to Oz as they found out he had put out his age DOWN by 10 years. He did that to go there as his eldest son is classed as the first casualty of the Gallipoli campaign (he died of meningitis when the first lot arrived in Egypt)
awesome explorer, what a fantastic opportunity to share & forever in your mind & heart ,looking forward to hearing of your journey when you return take care
