Right, now that's out of the way.

The hissy fits and the dummy spitting are finished. It reminded me of a market correction on the ASX or and end of season clean out at a footy club except this was self imposed.

The people who have let their indignation rule their life, have gone.

The ones that want to stay and enjoy the forum can get on with it. Just remember that the rules are there so everyone can use and enjoy the forum. Just because you do not agree with someone or some ruling, it is not the end of the world. Suck it up and and play on.

To those who continue to vilify the members who made the original complaint, I would say that you show your own intolerance by denigrating those members who may have a valid reason for making said complaint. I daresay you are the same people that bang on about Australia being a free country. It appears your interpretation is that it is free for you but not others that may dissent with your view.

Let's get on with it.

Phantom, more fuel to inflame won't help....obviously our small Community/Family is hurting at the moment....the reasons are largely now irrelevant....it is hurting that is what matters most...
Cindy has shown the wisdom of Soloman in confidentially attempting to protect the Forum and not the status quo....as I understand it, she simply asked for the Avatars to be removed with something more suitable for the 'whole family' to enjoy....no one was banned....
The only way for this whole family/Community to move forward is to make posts relevant to what this Forum represents....Life on the Road and those that would like to....
Lets welcome the Family members who have just left back and we do understand their point but it does not help the whole Family get back to enjoying each others company....
Lets make some relevant posts and move forward immediately and leave Cindy in peace........Hoo Roo

Well here am I sitting up in the rain forest house sitting. My only complaint is that this million dollar house is a pole home (with steps) & a steep driveway which my old legs & back do not take kindly to. But I do have the company of lots of birds including some scrub turkeys who will eat out of your hand. But somehow (even though I come into the GN forum everyday) (I am such a sticky beak & like to see what everyone's up to) I seem to have missed some big problem here. Maybe I am such an innocent it went straight over my head. So I am not sure what really happened.
All I would like to say is we do not want to lose our valued forum posters. You make my day. I love your quirky humour & nothing I have seen on this site has ever OFFENDED me. Friendships are so important so let's all be friends. Cheers from Alice
