getting together

Hi folks....

is there a place on this forum where we can mention the places we might be intending to camp at certain times?

I mean...where I can say I'm going to the Marrabel rodeo, for instance...so that any others who may wish to, can do the same?

Just a thought.

Hello marinepics,

if you go back to the index page and scroll down you will find a section called "Get Togethers"

have a look in there.

Hi Folks....
thanks ...i'll have a look on the index page for "get togethers".
and Yeah....Marrabel is out through Kapunda...
there's free camping for the weekend...at least it was last time I went several years ago....just a farmer's paddock from memory....maybe it 's the showgrounds...not sure.
but the Bull Ride is interesting...it was once a Rodeo...until rodeos became too "cruel" for the feminine cat lover brigade...(apologies to the cat lovers out there !!....only joking )

The Bull Ride event, if one is interested, is $25 per head...that's $50 per couple...a bit rich, if u ask me...just a bunch of cows !!!

I'm just hoping to take the Sprinter for a test run somewhere where I can enjoy a campfire.

The last photo was taken at Pt Albert, near Corner Inlet, Victoria....whilst camping in my Hi ace.
The attachment below is the same place on a different day...lovely picturesque spot....there used to be free camping on an old abandoned caravan park, but I reckon it would be out of bounds by now.
