Broomehill - small town south of York in WA.  CP - power, water and free washing machine and dryer.  $25 - there is no office, run by the council - call in there business hours, or ring the mobile number, Julie will come out and turn power on, and give you key to amenities, which were spotless.  There is a book exchange in the laundry, and some tourism brochures as well.

More small towns could do this sort of thing, I believe.
